Spring 1 2019

In January 2019, poet and author Paul Delaney visited Year 6. Paul lives locally and spoke to pupils about the range of literacy skills he utilises in his profession. As an avid poet, he spoke about the importance of speaking skills in performance poetry and life in general. The value of being able to engage and captivate the target audience with your voice. Paul shared his own personal story of overcoming his speech impediment when he performs poetry and recites his stories.
