DESCRIPTION:Mental Health Awareness Week \n12/05/25–16/05/25 \nMental Health Awareness Week starts on Monday 12th May to Friday 16th May 2025. This year\, we will be \ncelebrating the theme of ‘Communities That Support Us’ to protect and nurture good mental health. \nWe know that we thrive when we have strong connections with others and supportive communities around us. We \nalso know that people who are more socially connected to family\, friends\, or their community are happier\, \nphysically healthier\, and live longer\, with fewer mental health problems than people who are less well connected. \nMrs Berry will be planning engaging activities this week to promote good mental health during this week and \nbeyond for our pupils.

These engaging sessions are \ndesigned to foster key skills that will enable your \nchild to ride a bicycle in the future – an essential life \nskill that promotes confidence and independence. \nThrough fun activities and expert guidance\, our \nyoung learners will enhance their balance\, \ncoordination\, and physical capabilities\, setting them \nup for a lifetime of cycling enjoyment. We can’t wait \nto see their progress and the smiles on their faces \nas they take this exciting step!

SUMMARY:Key Stage Two SATS  Year 6  12/05/25-15/05/25
DESCRIPTION:Key Stage Two SATS \nYear 6 \n12/05/25–15/05/25 \nThe end of Key stage 2 Assessment Tests (SATs) for Year 6 take place the week commencing 12th -15th May \n2025. These are the statutory tests which take place each year for Year 6 pupils. \nThese tests are a tool to help measure the progress pupils have made and identify if they need additional support \nin a particular area. The children and staff have been working extremely hard to prepare for these assessments \nwhich include tests in English Grammar Punctuation and Spelling\, Reading and Mathematics. \nOur Year 6 pupils are invited to join their friends in school for breakfast from 8:15am each morning of the tests. \nMore information regarding the tests will be sent out by Mrs Taylor via Arbor.
