DESCRIPTION:Positive Footprints Aspirations Day at Trafford Hall \nYear 5 \n22/05/25 \nThis inspiring day has been designed for pupils to give them the chance to learn in a completely different \nlandscape. Children will engage in green based activities with a careers-led approach. \nThe day will be split into two zones with children swapping over after lunch. \nZone 1 is called Save the Agent\, where the children will embark on a high-stakes mission to ‘rescue’ a stranded \nsecret agent. \nThis will give them an opportunity to work as a team\, use problem-solving skills plus survival instincts. \nThis outdoor activity includes physical challenges\, mental puzzles plus practical skills in a dynamic and engaging \nscenario. \nParticipants will have the opportunity to learn the skills of fire lighting\, shelter building and map reading. \nZone 2 will be split into two with children swapping over after an hour. One part will be a Green Career Carousel \nwith children having the chance to meet businesses who have jobs linked to the environment\, sustainability etc. \nThe second part will be hosted by Centrica who will run their Get Set for Positive Energy sessions. One session is \nbased on Renewable Energy and the other focuses on Sustainable Communities. \nFurther details of this exciting opportunity will be available on Arbor.
