SUMMARY:Year 3 Stone Age Workshop with Dr John Hill
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to welcome back Dr John Hill\, an Archaeologist and Liverpool University Lecturer to deliver a Stone Age Workshop with real artefacts to your Year 3 Students. The sessions will take place on Tuesday 18/11/25 and Thursday 20/11/25. \nDr Hill brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of archaeology\, particularly focusing on prehistoric societies. \nDuring this engaging workshop\, students will have the chance to learn about the Stone Age\, including its culture\, tools\, and significant developments. \nDr Hill will employ a hands-on approach\, allowing students to interact with artefacts and participate in activities that illustrate the daily lives of our ancestors. \nThis is a fantastic opportunity for our students to deepen their understanding from an expert in the field!

SUMMARY:Year 5 IntoFilm Festival Cinema Trip - Bad Guys 2 - New Brighton Light Cinema
DESCRIPTION:We have been fortunate enough to secure some free cinema trips for for our pupils as part of the IntoFilm Festival. The festival is a fantastic initiative aimed at inspiring students through film\, helping to enhance their creativity\, and fostering a love for storytelling. \nAs part of the festival\, our Year 5 classes will be attending screenings designed to engage their imaginations and will link to work back in school. These screenings will not only provide an engaging experience but will also support our broader educational goals by encouraging discussions about themes such as themes of redemption\, stereotypes and friendship. \nYear 5  \nThursday 20/11/2025 – Bad Guys 2 \nWe have some spaces for parents and carers to join us on the trip\, details will follow via Arbor.

The untold story of the witches of Oz stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba\, a young woman\, misunderstood because of her unusual green skin\, who has yet to discover her true power\, and Ariana Grande as Glinda\, a popular young woman\, gilded by privilege\, who has yet to discover her true heart.
