DESCRIPTION:“UK Parliament Week (UKPW) is an annual event\, spreading the word about what Parliament is\, what it does and how you can get involved. It’s a great way to find out new things about UK Parliament or be reminded of things you might’ve forgotten!” \nOur School Council will be leading our UK Parliament Week Celebrations to learn more about Parliament\, democracy and law. The children will learn about how laws were created in the past compared to today and how our British History has led to the way laws and democracy take place in modern day Britain. \nThe children will participate in debating topics and understand what it means to have the right to vote.

SUMMARY:Year 3 IntoFilm Festival Cinema Trip - Missing Link - New Brighton Light Cinema
DESCRIPTION:We have been fortunate enough to secure some free cinema trips for for our pupils as part of the IntoFilm Festival. The festival is a fantastic initiative aimed at inspiring students through film\, helping to enhance their creativity\, and fostering a love for storytelling. \nAs part of the festival\, our Year 3 classes will be attending screenings designed to engage their imaginations and will link to work back in school. The children will attend the screening of Missing Link. This visually stunning animation explores themes of displacement and loneliness whilst proving that sometimes family can be found in the most unlikely of places. \nYear 3  \nThursday 27/11/25 \nWe have some spaces for parents and carers to join us on the trip\, details will follow via Arbor.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to share with you that this academic year\, we have introduce a new mathematics curriculum across our school – the My Mastery Mathematics Curriculum. \nTo introduce this curriculum to parents and carers and share important learning strategies for Autumn Term\, we will be holding Parent and Carer ‘How to..’ Mathematics sessions\, led by our maths leads Mr Allinson and Miss Hughes. \nParents and carers are invited to attend\, with their child\, on the following dates to learn about the techniques we use in the classroom and different ways you can help your child with mathematics at home: \nReception – Monday 17/11/25 \nYear 1 – Wednesday 19/11/25 \nYear 2 – Thursday 20/11/25 \nYear 3 – Monday 24/11/25 \nYear 4 – Wednesday 26/11/25 \nYear 5 & Year 6 -Thursday 27/11/25 \nWe hope you will be able to join us!
