SUMMARY:Year 6 LFC Foundation Money Managers Financial Literacy Sessions
DESCRIPTION:Our wonderful partners at the LFC Foundation will be delivering one of their in-school provision programmes for our Year 6 pupils called Money Managers. \nMoney Managers is a maths based programme which enables children to understand and explain the importance of saving money\, as well as identifying the difference between needs and wants when budgeting. The children will also work out how to solve problems using money. \nThe sessions will take place across the half term as follows: \nFriday 16/01/26 \nFriday 23/01/26 \nFriday 30/01/26 \nFriday 06/02/26 \nFriday 13/02/26

DESCRIPTION:On Friday 16/01/26\, Year 5 and 6 will be visited by Altru Drama Company for a STEM themed performance – Material World: Engineering the Future! \nThrough a fun\, interactive performance\, students will follow characters Alex\, Jody and Harry as they create a live TV show about the fascinating world of materials science. \nThrough a highly interactive and energising performance\, pupils will discover how the materials all around us connect to cutting-edge technologies in aerospace\, marine engineering and beyond.
