SUMMARY:Year 6 LFC Foundation Money Managers Financial Literacy Sessions
DESCRIPTION:Our wonderful partners at the LFC Foundation will be delivering one of their in-school provision programmes for our Year 6 pupils called Money Managers. \nMoney Managers is a maths based programme which enables children to understand and explain the importance of saving money\, as well as identifying the difference between needs and wants when budgeting. The children will also work out how to solve problems using money. \nThe sessions will take place across the half term as follows: \nFriday 16/01/26 \nFriday 23/01/26 \nFriday 30/01/26 \nFriday 06/02/26 \nFriday 13/02/26

SUMMARY:Mental Health Support Team Sleep Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Our Mental Health Practitioner\, Felicity Gray\, will be running a Sleep Clinic workshop for parents and carers. The workshop is suitable for all families with young and school age children experiencing sleep problems. \n“By the end of the workshop participants will understand the science of sleep\, sleep cycles\, the psychological and physiological benefits of sleep. Parents will be offered support to help overcome the sleep problems their child may be experiencing by sharing receive hints and tips for them to help their child.” Places are limited so\, make sure you sign up on the link sent out via Arbor in due course.

SUMMARY:NSPCC Number Day - For all Year Groups except Year 1
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to be supporting the NSPCC by taking part in Number Day on Friday 6 February 2026. \n“Everything the NSPCC does protects children today and prevents abuse tomorrow. The NSPCC need our support more than ever. By raising money\, we can help to fund their vital services such as Childline – the helpline that’s always there for children and young people whatever their problem or concern.Half a million children a year suffer abuse or neglect in the UK. That means 7 children in a classroom experience abuse before they turn 18.” \nNSPCC Number Day makes maths meaningful and is a great way to make numbers fun and bring about a positive\, ‘can-do’ attitude towards mathematics. \nOn Friday 06/02/26\, we are having a fun day of maths activities\, and we will be taking part in Dress up for Digits. \nPupils are asked to wear an item of clothing with a number on it (sports top\, football\, rugby\, netball\, hockey shirt or cap). Or get even more creative and become a human calculator\, dice or domino by dressing in a maths or numbers theme.
