SUMMARY:Chartwells Value Added Sessions - Energy! - Year 1\, 2 and 3
DESCRIPTION:On 06/05/2026 and 07/05/2026\, our pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 will take part in a hands on session\, delivered by our catering partner\, Chartwells\, based on Energy! \n  \nPupils will learn how our bodies and brains need energy from food to function\, much like cars need petrol to drive! We dive into what energy is\, the comparison between different foods with the same energy levels\, how our bodies use it and the importance of re-fuel through sleep and breakfast. \n  \nPupils will create their own breakfast pots or energy bars in the session\, considering the use of ingredients with nutrients beneficial for health and long-lasting energy levels!
