This is a \nfantastic chance for our children to develop their \nGeography skills while enjoying the great outdoors. \nThe trip will kick off with an indoor session where the \nchildren will compare maps and aerial photos of the \nlocal area. They’ll have the chance to create their \nown simple maps\, helping them grasp the concept of \na ‘Bird’s Eye view’. After their indoor activities\, we’ll \nhead outside to explore! In the open air\, the children \nwill draw their own maps and learn about the eight \npoints of a compass\, a vital skill for any budding \nexplorer. DESCRIPTION:During this creative session\, our pupils will be led by an experienced prop designer to create their own snake puppet from Mozart’s famous opera ‘The Magic Flute’. \nChildren will learn about the design process from the first model to the finished prop\, discover how set designers make giant creations for the performance of ‘The Magic Flute’\, create their own snake puppet and meet the designers and have the opportunity to ask questions.
