This is a \nfantastic chance for our children to develop their \nGeography skills while enjoying the great outdoors. \nThe trip will kick off with an indoor session where the \nchildren will compare maps and aerial photos of the \nlocal area. They’ll have the chance to create their \nown simple maps\, helping them grasp the concept of \na ‘Bird’s Eye view’. After their indoor activities\, we’ll \nhead outside to explore! In the open air\, the children \nwill draw their own maps and learn about the eight \npoints of a compass\, a vital skill for any budding \nexplorer. DESCRIPTION:During this creative session\, our pupils will be led by an experienced stage designer to create their own tree for the set of the ballet ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’. \nChildren will learn about the design process from the first model to the finished set\, be introduced to set designs from the magical story of Alice’s Adventures and have the opportunity to meet the designers and ask questions.
