We looked carefully at different types of food packaging and saw that lots of different types of materials are used. We found packaging made of glass, plastic, netting and cardboard.
We wondered why different packaging was used for different foods and decided to test this out. We soon found out why mayonnaise is packaged in a plastic bottle and not in paper…very messy!
