Nursery Spring Term 2018-2019

As part of their learning around railways and safety at train stations, Nursery welcomed a visitor from Merseyrail. The experience helped the pupils reinforce their knowledge of:

• Gaining an insight into how a train station functions, the importance of health and safety and how to remain safe on the platform.
• Gain an understanding into how we can create a train station role play area to support our current children’s interests.
• Use our language to make conversations through role play to order tickets at the station.
• Use visual props and aids to support the children’s communication and language.
• Support the children to ask for their requests putting more complex words together
