We are excited to announce that our Year 6 pupils will be visiting Collingwood Dock and Stanley Lock in Liverpool on Thursday 26/11/25.

The excursion will provide students with a practical understanding of mechanical principles, such as cogs, pulleys, and levers, in the real-life context of locks and docks in local area. This experience will not only enhance the children’s learning in Design Technology but also foster an appreciation for the engineering behind the waterways that have shaped our industrial history.
