Exploring Space with a Robotic Telescope

We are thrilled to announce that our Year 6 pupils

will be participating in a unique online session

hosted from the Fawkes Telescope South in

Australia.

This incredible opportunity allows our young

astronomers to dial in and explore the wonders of

distant galaxies. For an exhilarating 30 minutes,

they will take control of the remarkable 2-metre

wide telescope, capturing stunning real-time

photographs of the universe. As the telescope

gazes into the cosmos, pupils will have the chance

to engage with expert astronomers, asking

questions and deepening their cosmic knowledge.
