The ‘Help Your Child Thrive’ programme is coming to Barlows Primary School from Monday 3rd November to help you to support your child with their learning and development at home. This course runs every Monday morning in school for 5 sessions just after you drop your child off at the start of the school day.

The course gives you an insight into what your child will be learning in Reception and KS1. Each week you’ll receive lots of practical tips and ideas as to how to help your child develop skills in communication and language, personal, social and emotional wellbeing, physical development, literacy and maths. You will be given a booklet full of resources and ideas for fun games to play with your child at home which will help them to thrive in school. The course is also a good chance to meet other parents and get to know a bit more about school.

Sessions will run from 9:30am – 11:30am on the following dates:
