• Wednesday 07/10/26 at 5:15pm-6:00pm – Year 1 and Year 2 Parents and Carers
The aim of this event is to provide you with valuable insights into our phonics programme, including the methods and strategies we employ to encourage early reading skills among our pupils.
Phonics is a vital component of our literacy curriculum, as it establishes the relationships between letters and sounds. A robust understanding of phonics enables children to decode words and develop their reading fluency. During the session, we will demonstrate various activities that you can engage in at home to reinforce these essential skills, ensuring your child’s reading journey is both enjoyable and effective.
We encourage all parents and carers to attend, as your involvement plays a crucial role in your child’s learning process. Supporting phonics development at home can significantly enhance your child’s confidence and enjoyment of reading.
If you have any questions or require further information, do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you at the session.
