Social Media and Anti-Bullying Sessions for Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 with our PCSOs

November 3

On Monday 03/11/25, our Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and 6 students with be taking part in special sessions with our PCSOs focused on social media awareness and anti-bullying.

In today’s digital age, understanding the impacts of social media on young people has become increasingly essential.

These sessions will be conducted by the local Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), who will share their expertise on safe online practices, the potential risks associated with social media, and how to promote kindness and respect in both virtual and real-life interactions.

The sessions aim to empower our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of modern communication responsibly.

Additionally, these workshops provide an excellent opportunity for students to discuss bullying, its various forms, and the importance of standing together against it. Our intention is to foster an inclusive and supportive environment, where every child feels valued.

We believe that parental involvement is crucial in reinforcing these themes at home. It is advisable to have open conversations with your child about their online activities and to encourage them to share their experiences and feelings regarding their interactions with peers. By working together, we can create a strong support network for our children.

Should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to reach out to the school office.
