During this engaging workshop delivered by National Museums Liverpool and the Mersey Gateway Environmental Trust, our Year 4 pupils will explore local marine wildlife linked to the estuary, through the museum Irish Sea, rocky shores, and Rockpool tanks, using them as a starting point to learn about animals such as seals, dolphins, dogfish and salmon (after a remarkable return to the River Mersey!).

They’ll discover vital conservation work and learn why these habitats are important for wildlife and the climate. Children will become empowered to take positive action, considering simple choices such as active travel and reducing car use where possible. Further information will follow via Arbor
