We are pleased to announce a series of educational visits for our Year 6 students to participate in Apple’s Learn to Code workshops.

These visits are scheduled to take place in groups of 15 students per visit as follows:

• Thursday 01/10/26 (morning session) Y6 15 students

• Tuesday 20/10/26 (morning session) Y6 15 students

• Tuesday 03/11/26 (morning session) Y6 15 students

• Tuesday 10/11/26 (morning session) Y6 15 students

During this hands-on session, children will be introduced to the fundamentals of coding through fun, interactive challenges using Apple’s Swift Playground app.

The workshop is designed to develop computational thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and resilience, while giving pupils an insight into the world of computer programming. Guided by Apple team members, children will have the opportunity to create code, experiment with new ideas, and build confidence in their digital skills.

This engaging experience supports the computing curriculum and aims to inspire the next generation of innovators, creators, and technology leaders. We are looking forward to a fun and educational day of learning outside the classroom.
