Anti-Bullying Week – Odd Sock Day
November 10
Odd Sock Day is part of Anti-Bullying Week, which aims to engage students in meaningful discussions surrounding the importance of respect, understanding, and kindness towards one another.
By wearing odd socks, we hope to visually represent the message that differences are not only acceptable but should be embraced within our school community.
We encourage all students to participate in this initiative by wearing their most colourful and mismatched socks with their usual school uniform on the day. This simple act serves as a powerful reminder to recognise and appreciate the unique qualities that each child possesses.
It is also an excellent opportunity for parents and guardians to discuss the significance of this day and explore themes of friendship, acceptance, and the detrimental effects of bullying.
As part of our efforts to foster a safe and supportive environment, we will be conducting assemblies and classroom activities to further educate our students
