Alice Phelps is a talented double bassist, vocalist, and composer who creates imaginative, genre-blending music that inspires curiosity and creativity. Performing under the name Phellotape, she also works with a number of acclaimed orchestras and ensembles.

During the session, led by our music partner – Resonate, pupils will learn about Alice’s career as a professional musician, discover the unique sounds of the double bass, and gain an insight into how music can be used to tell stories and express ideas. This promises to be an inspiring opportunity to explore the world of music from the classroom.
